The Medicine Coat is made from a Pendleton® Medicine Bow Blanket.
Near the town of Medicine Bow, Wyoming, flows the Medicine Bow River. The river, rising in the Snowy Range, is named for the mountain mahogany used by Native Americans to make bows, involving ceremonial "making-medicine".
The Medicine Bow Coat is a modern, oversized silhouette with no front closures and two front pockets that are very functional. The versatile, draped form with a relaxed shoulder and wide sleeve, is made to accommodate a variety of body types and may easily be sized up or down. Fully lined.
