The Glacier Coat is made from a Pendleton® Glacier Park Blanket .

Since the early 1900's, Pendleton® has honored Glacier National Park with the Glacier Blanket. Its colors and markings come from historic frontier trading posts, where traders valued blankets by weight. To show how many pounds a blanket weighed, a trader held up one finger per pound. The original designs used three, four, or five black stripes to show this value. 

The coat is a modern, oversized silhouette with no front closures and two front pockets that are very functional. The versatile, draped form with a relaxed shoulder and wide sleeve, is made to accommodate a variety of body types and may easily be sized up or down. Fully lined.
